Latches and Catches

Our latches and catches, including snap latches, panel catches, snap-in latches, and door latches, are quick and easy to install and use.

Door latches - Typically used with cabinet doors they are a spring loaded click lock. Constructed from Polyoxymethylene (POM) for the case, Nylon 66 for the catcher, Polycarbonate Glass-filled for the arm and Grade 304 Stainless Steel for the spring.

Snap Latches - Consists of two parts, a female grommet and a male plunger. The grommet fits into a hole in the panel or application, the plunger then goes into the grommet, as it is pushed downwards it causes the grommet to open, this ensures a tight fit. The plunger can easily be removed by pulling upward this releases the grommet from the hole, allowing the snap latch to be removed and reused as required.

Panel Catches - Consists of three parts, a striker, a base and a catch; the striker and the base fit together on one panel with the catch on a separate panel, the panels then fit together tightly an securely, the panels can be separated by pulling one panel from the other, which will release the striker from the catch. Can easily be reused as required. Supplied as a set which consists of the three parts.

Snap-in Latches - These consist of two parts, a striker and a catch; which are supplied together as a set. The catch requires a hole diameter of 16.7 x 11.5mm and a panel thickness of 1.7mm; the striker requires a square hole measuring 7.0 x 7.0mm and a panel thickness of 1.0mm. The striker fits securely in to the catch and can be easily removed and reused as required.
